HONOR THY TEACHER CAMPAIGN
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4!
-see below for instructions-
“I gave to honor my children's' teachers, and both were overjoyed with their gift and said that they couldn't think of a better and more fitting gift to give a teacher!" -Rachelle Sipkovsky, local parent
|
Show any teacher how much you appreciate them: donate in their honor to Books from Birth. It is a unique way of expressing thanks to teachers because it helps local children learn the joy of reading.
- A low $42.60 a gift in a teacher’s honor provides one new book a month to a child for three years!
- Just $71.00 will provide a book a month to one child for five years
- $142.00 helps 10 children for a year! What a great gift!
- $14.20 gives the gift of reading for an entire year to one local child.
Your child’s teacher will receive a letter from Books from Birth, saying that s/he has been honored by you. Include the teacher’s name and school on the online donation form so they'll receive the letter … and another small child will be on the road to reading, thanks to you.
Step 1: Open the VU Online Giving Form and give with a credit card.
(Want to donate with a check? Click here to print the donor card (PDF) and mail.)
Step 2: Once you are on the VU Online Giving Form, follow steps 1-4 on this graphic:
