 The Parenting Center recognizes that raising children is a challenging, yet rewarding experience. Sometimes families need help to get through the everyday challenges that they face when raising their young children. The Parenting Center is dedicated to providing families with the emotional and informational support they need to raise their young children successfully. 

What can I do for my child who is scared of dogs?                        

 

I am having a hard time toilet training my child.  I need some new ideas.

 

My child is having some behavior problems at school and his teacher would like some help to solve the problems.

 

 

 
                                                         

I think my child has autism.  Where can I get help?                                      

 

My child screams and falls to the floor when he doesn't get his way.  What should I do?

 

How do I play with my child with a disability?

Do you have concerns about your child's behavior or development?  Are you interested in finding out about research and other services provided at Vanderbilt?  Do you need help dealing with a particular behavior or situation at home?  Is your child having problems in a school or child care setting?

The Parenting Center can be your One-Stop Resource for parenting needs.     

Parent Coaching and Family-Centered Positive Behavior Support provide consultation to families and teachers to help solve challenging behaviors and other concerns.
