The Early Childhood Anger Management Clinic provides consultation for families of young children less than 7-years-old who have aggression or anger management problems.
Contributing factors will be reviewed and treatment will be individualized. In general, medicines will not be used. There will be a strong emphasis on teaching behavior modification strategies. Visits last 60 to 90 minutes and all primary caregivers should attend. Pertinent medical records should be faxed or mailed prior to the visit.
If you are a parent or guardian:
- Contact your child's primary care provider (PCP) and request they complete the Physician Consult Form.
- Once your child's PCP has referred your child, call (615) 936-3050 to schedule an appointment.
If you are a referring provider:
- Visit our Physician Consult Form page to refer your patient.
Play Nicely is a multi-media tool for parents and teachers to develop a behavior management plan for their child with agression or anger management problems.
